Meet Our Staff
Gary Ludka D.D.S.
Dr. Ludka worked as a carpenter for three years after graduating from DuVal High School. He then started his college studies at Prince George's Community College, transferred to the University of Maryland at College Park where he received a BS degree in Biology. He married his college sweetheart Cecily, in the spring of 1980. And after working in the construction field for three additional years he entered the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School graduating in the spring of 1986 with honors.
Dr. Ludka has attended numerous post graduate dental courses including those offered at The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, The Dawson Center for Advanced Study, Dr. Michael Schuster's Center for Professional Development, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation program and DenMat Lumineers certification program just to name a few. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Bowie-Crofton Dental Study Club, The Maryland Implant Society and The Occlusal Study Club. Dr. Ludka and his wife reside in nearby Crofton and have three grown daughters.
Office Manager
Cathi started her career in 1990 as a chairside dental assistant. After about 5 years of dental assisting, she moved to a front desk administrative position. She has been working at Town Center Dentistry since February 2007. Cathi resides in Glen Burnie with her husband Dave and her dachshund Roxy.
Dental Assistant
Debbie has been assisting since 1985. She attended classes to be a dental laboratory technician at Georgetown School of Science & Arts, and then attended the Dental Assisting Program at the Margaret Murray Washington Vocation School both of which are located in Washington, D.C. She started working with Dr. Ludka in July 2004. Deborah and her family live in nearby New Carrollton and she loves the short commute.
Hygienist
Angela enlisted in the Air Force in July 1992. She trained as a dental assistant in Wichita Falls, TX and worked as an assistant for four years. She then crossed-trained into the dental laboratory and worked as a dental laboratory technician, making crowns and bridges, for six years.
In September 2002, she decided to end her military career and to pursue a dental hygiene degree from San Joaquin Valley College in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She currently holds a license in both California and Maryland.
Angela has been employed by Dr. Ludka since February 2006. She and her family reside in Annapolis Maryland.
